Long time Omaha music veterans, The Coffin Killers, formed 2 years ago out of the need to hear more whiskey-drenched-country-tinged-punk-rock in a city dominated by watered down pop. Singer Guitarist Lee (Bad Luck Charm, The Filter Kings), joined along side Ryan, bass (Race for Titles, Red Menace), Mike D, Guitar (Crusin’ Rosie), and Matt Baum, drums (Desaparacidos, Race for Titles), to form an ugly group of mismatched losers that pound out their own brand of aggressive country-rock while still adhering to their punk roots. They’re old, fat, short, ugly and mean but what the Coffin Killers lack in chiseled-good-looks they more than make up for in volume, scare tissue and belligerence. Any one who says otherwise is itching for a fight.
