The Hottman Sisters are a sister-led pop band from Omaha, Nebraska, centered around tight harmonies.
Music has always been integral to the sisters, Heather Hottman and Jessica Hottman. Both sisters grew up listening to ‘90’s pop music and boy bands, but also spent time singing four-part harmonies alongside their mother and younger sister. They led music in church on Sundays, performed at a variety of local events, and spent countless hours jamming and writing music in the basement of their house. All of these components helped to develop their stage presence and musical skills. However, Heather and Jessica feel that singing is an innate part of who they are, a language they have always been familiar with.
After both sisters graduated from college, they knew they were ready to start developing a new, sister-oriented, musical project. Jessica had spent many hours in college writing music and dreaming up the vision behind The Hottman Sisters.
“We both knew we wanted to pursue music in some way. It has always been a part of our lives and who we are and the way people perceive us.” ~Jessica Hottman
The Hottman Sisters have spent the last year touring nationally and playing in large festivals such as SXSW and Maha Music Festival.
The Hottman Sisters recently finished recording an EP that is scheduled to be released in the 2018 year. This release of music will push their band into new territory, with a more pop-based sound, catchy hooks, and music that can easily be danced to in a live setting.
