Heart Attack Man
Most of us fear death, while a small number of us pay no mind to it. Nevertheless, none of us will outrun it. In this respect, it unites us. Exploring our existential fate, Heart Attack Man ponder not just death, but life in between the crunch of palm-muted pop-punk guitar chords and snappy hooks you just can’t shake. As such, the Cleveland, OH trio—Eric Egan [vocals, guitar], Adam Paduch [drums], and Ty Sickels [guitar]—stare down fate with an ear-to-ear smile on their fourth full-length LP, Joyride the Pale Horse [Many Hats Distribution]. “No matter what differences we have, everybody dies,” Eric affirms. “For the album, I wanted to approach the process differently and be more poetic in terms of the subject matter. I was riffing on our acute awareness of mortality. However, the sentiment isn’t, ‘I want to die’ or ‘Everyone I know is dead, and I’m so sad’. It’s more complicated. Getting older, you start grappling with the feelings associated with death and how to contemplate life itself. We’re painting a picture of how complex and nuanced our feelings about death can be.” Since emerging in 2014, Heart Attack Man have consistently sharpened their signature style to knife-point precision with clever lyrics as incisive as their airtight songcraft. This sound naturally progressed across Acid Rain EP [2014], The Manson Family [2017], Fake Blood [2019], Thoughts & Prayerz EP [2021], and Freak of Nature [2023]. Of the latter, Cleveland Magazine urged, “expect to find the high-energy, simmering pop-punk stylings that the band has established in the past few years — just, with more input and new flair.” Brooklyn Vegan christened them “a rare band who feel catchy enough for arenas and punk enough for basements all at once,” and OnesToWatch applauded their “enigmatic instrumentation and cutting lyrics.” Along the way, ceaseless touring shored up a devout audience behind them, and they amassed millions of streams. In 2024, the guys opted to reunite with producer Brett Romnes at “The Barbershop” studio in New Jersey. Musically, they nodded to inspirations as diverse as Hum and Failure as well as Type O Negative, Quicksand, and Unwritten Law. Pushing boundaries, they incorporated different time signatures and coated the soundscape with a thick dose of nineties fuzz. “We returned to the Barbershop with a renewed and rejuvenated appreciation for it,” says Eric. “Getting back in with Brett, it was the perfect meeting of the minds. We all stepped up our game. Musically, we tried things we’ve never done before. We understand what being in Heart Attack Man means and how all of this operates. We upped the energy overall too. We just keep figuring out how to make our band better each year.” “When it comes to this band, it feels like everything we’ve done prepared us for this moment,” he leaves off. “We know what we want to do and who we are. We don’t want to know what life looks like without playing music.”
Pardyalone – Back of the Class Tour
Pardyalone (born as Kalvin Tyler Beal) is a Minnesota-born hip-hop artist with big dreams full of harmonic beats, silvery vocals, and emotional prowess. A 23-year-old lifelong artist, music became a salvation for Pardyalone after his parent’s divorce and heartbreak, leaving him looking for an opportunity to “get uncomfortable.” After finding solace in music, Pardyalone began releasing tracks on Soundcloud and TikTok. Having garnered a fanbase nearing 700k followers on TikTok and millions of views, tracks like “Sincerely, F*ck You”, “Cupid”, and most notably “Not a Home” have cultivated a mass audience of monthly listeners on Spotify. Synthesizer tones are regularly featured on songs like “Addict” and “Inside Out”. At the same time, Pardyalone utilizes piano and soft guitar melodies on “Vampire,” “White Roses,” and “Mission” showcasing his versatility and depth. He weaves his inspirations Bon Iver, Rage Against The Machine, and Lauryn Hill in his lyrics encompassing addiction, love, and heartbreak. Citing how “anxiety and depression isn’t a thing that just goes away, it’s going to be constant,” Pardyalone works through his hardships by “writing about it in different perspectives.” For fans of Kid Laroi, Post Malone, and Juice Wrld, Pardyalone is a rising star who hits their wave of creativity with ease. Pardyalone combines his artistic talents from skateboarding, photography, graphic design, and self-expression to the forefront of his tracks along with his humble upbringing: “I didn’t grow up in the streets,” Pardyalone said. “I went through pessimistic shit and self-inflicted trauma.” Using TikTok to “be a better human,” fans have gravitated to Pardyalone’s velvety vocal fry, heavy cadence, and relatable disposition. The future holds more for Pardyalone like a debut record along with “a lot of diversity” in his music, the likes of rock, pop, and explorative sounds which will be “an opportunity [to show] that I don’t just make sad music,” Pardyalone said. With powerful lyrics and punchy hooks, Pardyalone presents a world where it’s okay to “listen and feel” as the next track begins.

Chris Cain
Among the greatest compliments a musician can receive is praise from his fellow artists. With more than three decades of touring and fourteen previous albums, master blues guitarist and vocalist Chris Cain has earned his reputation as a musician’s musician. Since his first release in 1987, Cain has created his very own blues sound inspired by his heroes—B.B. King, Albert King, Ray Charles, Albert Collins, Grant Green and Wes Montgomery. His jazz-informed blues guitar playing is fiery, emotional and always unpredictable. His vocals—gruff, lived-in and powerful—add fuel to the fire. His indelible original songs keep one foot in the blues tradition and both eyes on the future. The pure joy Cain brings to his playing and singing is palpable, and draws fans even closer in. Joining Alligator Records is a dream come true for Cain, who grew up idolizing label giants like Hound Dog Taylor and Son Seals. “Alligator cares so much about the music and the artists,” Cain says. “I’m really excited to be a part of it. And I’ve got the best pack of tunes I’ve ever written.” Chris Cain was born in San Jose, California in 1955. His parents were huge music fans and shared their love of blues, jazz and popular music with Chris. His African American father and Greek mother both loved music and had a huge record collection. His father first took Chris to see B.B. King when Chris was three, and, says Cain, “we never missed another show.” Thanks to his parents’ musical passion, young Chris saw almost every blues, jazz and rock artist that came through town, many of them repeatedly: James Brown, Albert King, Johnny Winter, Jimi Hendrix, even The Beatles. He picked up his first guitar at age eight and learned lick after lick, song after song. He’d listen to his father’s records over and over until the music had seeped into his soul. Cain’s rough-and-tumble East San Jose neighborhood was a melting pot of soul, rock, blues, jazz and Latin sounds, and he absorbed it all as his guitar playing improved. By the time he was in his teens, he was starting to get noticed. In 1976, local San Jose singer and harmonica player Gary Smith gave Cain his first professional job playing guitar in his band. During this time Cain studied jazz at San Jose City College and soon began teaching jazz improvisation there. Cain formed his first band in 1986, and, in the hopes of getting more gigs, released his first album, Late Night City Blues, on the locally-based Blue Rock’It label. Almost immediately, everything changed. Booking agents came calling and Chris began touring Europe before he knew what hit him. The album received four W.C. Handy Award nominations (now the Blues Music Awards) and the offers to perform kept rolling in. He even opened for his heroes Albert King and Albert Collins, who both asked Chris to jam on stage. The more Cain toured and recorded, the greater his reputation grew. Four more albums on Blue Rock’It and three for Blind Pig Records kept Cain busy on the road for the better part of every year. AllMusic said Cain delivers “slow-burning, contemporary blues that positively swings…a tour-de-force. Licks are clean, warm and fluid. He seamlessly bounces between R&B, funk, jazz, jump blues and Chicago blues…refreshing and diverse.”
VULVODYNIA – CANCELED
Vulvodynia is a South African slamming Deathcore juggernaut designed with one purpose: to make the craziest, most absurdly heavy music possible, while attempting to define themselves as more than just “another slam band.” If their mission was over-the-top heaviness, then consider it accomplished—from their debut release, Lord of Plagues, Vulvodynia’s penchant for skull-splitting technicality and eviscerating heaviness has been obvious. Rapidly gaining popularity and recognition for their prodigal slam prowess, Lord of Plagues saw the band reach ears not just in their local scene, but around the world as well. In August 2014 the band signed a two album contract with Australian Label Vicious Instinct Records, releasing their debut full-length album, Cognizant Castigation. Featuring Acrania’s Luke Griffin and Ingested’s Jason Evans (among many others). If 2014 was the year the band finally grew into their potential, 2015 was the year they shattered their own mould, evolving into an even more aggressive and creative display of no-holds-barred heaviness. The band released a lengthy-but-lurid eight-track EP titled Finis Omnium Ignoratium, completing their contact with Vicious Instinct Records. No longer satisfied with their status as a terrifying trio, the band sought to expand—searching South Africa for more like-minded musicians willing to bring forth brutality. Vulvodynia’s search was not in vain; with the completion of a full lineup, the band joined with Czech-based label Lacerated Enemy Records, releasing their sophomore full-length Psychosadistic Design shortly thereafter. The time that followed was a blur of tours and festivals including Deathfeast Open Air (DE),Fall In The Brawl (UK) and 2018 tours with Despised Icon, Malevolence and Archspire. It wouldn’t be too much longer before 2019 would dawn on the band and see them release Mob Justice, a record that takes a step back from the band’s lore established on Finis or the outright brutality of Psychosadistic Design to focus on music surrounding the social strife and societal tensions surrounding living in South Africa. Widely hailed as their strongest work to date, Mob Justice hurled the band into 2020 with what seemed to be unstoppable momentum—until 2020 was complicated by a global pandemic. Determined not to let COVID-19 slow their unstoppable onslaught, Vulvodynia pushed on, releasing Societal Lobotomization, a split EP with slamming deathcore legends Acrania. The “Vulvocrania” project was a landmark success, catapulting the band into heavy music’s uppermost echelon—complete with their recent signing to Unique Leader Records and the imminent release of Praenuntius Infiniti, a lore-laden, slam-riddled, riff-driven monstrosity that transcends the borders between brutal death metal, technical death metal and deathcore. Vulvodynia are proud to announce their latest offering, ‘Entabeni’, a sonic journey through the rich and mystical realms of African folklore. Drawing inspiration from the continent’s ancient stories and myths, Vulvodynia weaves a tapestry of brutal riffs, pummeling drums, and haunting vocals, conjuring the spirits of the land. ‘Entabeni’ is a testament to the band’s South African roots and a celebration of the dark beauty that lies at the heart of African mythology. Prepare to embark on a thrilling adventure through the realms of the unknown, as Vulvodynia unleashes a maelstrom of fury and folklore upon the world.”
